if you visualise, will it materialise?
How often have you heard it said “I’ll believe it when I see it”, maybe you’ve said it yourself… but it is actually a limiting belief that focuses on what happens TO you, rather than giving you the power to create what you want.
The key is to “believe it before you see it” as belief is the power that manifests everything we experience.
Visualisation is one of the most powerful tools in manifesting with the Law of Attraction, in fact, it is the key component and something that I really savour in the process. That’s probably because I’ve always been a daydreamer… gazing out of the window at school and letting my thoughts and imagination run away with me. Of course, that only resulted in me being spotted by the teacher and asked a question of which I had no idea what she was talking about.
Visualising is daydreaming on purpose, with the goal of manifesting your desires. One definition of visualisation is “to make visible” and when you consciously and intentionally visualise or imagine specific things that you desire, and really feel that they are happening to you, they will manifest in the physical form in accordance with the Law of Attraction. This is because the Universe doesn’t know the difference between whether what you are focusing on is real or not, and responds by drawing more of what you are focussing on to you. A key point to remember is that you don’t have to know ‘how’ your vision will come into physical form or manifest, you simply have to practice going back to the feeling place of your vision, irrespective of any evidence in your life that may be in contradiction to it.
But you don’t have to take it from me that visualisation works… there is actually a science behind it and professional athletes and sportspeople use it regularly because it works. When a runner visualises a race, while attached to electrodes, the exact same sequence of brain activity is observed as when the runner is physically racing. The brain can’t tell the difference… that’s how powerful visualisation is. Whether you see yourself winning or losing… the inevitable actual outcome is what you visualise.
Visualisation works best when you take some time to get to a good feeling place, even a dreamy state, making yourself comfortable and relaxed, as your visions will come to you more effortlessly. In this respect, visualising before you go to sleep or on waking is really beneficial but it can equally work at any time of day when you can get yourself into that good feeling, chilled out zone.
By incorporating all of your senses in your visualisation it will make it feel real and will also increase your point of attraction. The more vividly you focus on a particular scene with all of the wonderful colours and visual details, listening to all of the sounds clearly, relishing any flavoursome tastes, smelling any aromas, engaging your body with all of the physical sensations, the more excited you will feel and the higher your vibration will be. The key is to immerse yourself in this feeling of your vision as if it really is happening and has been fulfilled ‘now’ rather than in the future. It will feel good, it will make you smile and you will be able to capture the scenario in your mind. You will also start to have access to more thoughts and feelings that match your ideal life and you will have shifted your point of attraction.
Some people say they find it hard to visualise, but if you can imagine in your mind something that has already happened in your life, picture the scene and re-live it… then you can also picture something that hasn’t happened yet but you really want to manifest. It’s creating your life as a film and you write the script.
It might take a bit of practice, and often some coaching on how it works best, but don’t miss out on this powerful, magical, manifestation tool and visualising experience to create what you want in your life.
